Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity was founded in 1910 by Jewish men at Columbia University who formed a society devoted to the ideals of friendship, chivalry and service.

From its founding TEP has welcomed members without regard to race, creed, color, or national origin. TEP today is proud to maintain its historical ties to the Jewish community while growing to be one of the most diverse fraternities in the United States.

TO LIVE in the light of friendship — to judge our fellows not by their rank not wealth but by their worth as men

TO WALK in the path of chivalry — to be honorable to all men and defend that honor

TO SERVE — for the love of service — to give unselfishly that which we may have to offer — to do voluntarily that which must be done

TO PRACTICE each day friendship — chivalry — service — thus keeping true to these — the three ideals — of the founders of our fraternity — this is the Creed of Tau Epsilon Phi.

What TEP Does

Founded in January of 2013 the Tau Epsilon Phi Alpha Tau Colony has been growing ever since. The 20 man founding father class were initiated in April of 2013 and have become a shining example of the ideals of TEP. After several successful semesters on Rowan University's Glassboro campus, we continue to look ahead to the future.

The Alpha Tau (AT) Colony has become a powerhouse on campus. After crossing our Zeta Class into the Fraternity in April 2016, with several brothers graduating that same semester, our numbers are up to 32 Active Brothers. All of whom, strive to Live in the Light of Friendship, to Walk in the Path of Chivalry, and to Serve for the Love of Service. We look forward to our Fall 2016 Rush.
